Virginia based.
Documenting weddings
in Washington, DC, Richmond,
and beyond.

We were always uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Tana made the entire experience feel effortless and natural. Her eye for the most flattering angles is extraordinary. When we saw the photos, we were absolutely blown away.

A refined approach to the unscripted
the artist
Hi l’m Tana. With a background in fine art, I learned to see through composition, color, and balance a foundation that continues to shape every frame I create.
To me, photography is a form of painting, only shaped through light instead of brushstrokes.
I’m inspired by Europe, especially Italy by its architecture, history, and layered spaces. But even more, I’m inspired by people by their emotion, their presence, and the quiet details others might overlook.
I approach each wedding with intention and heart, preserving not only how it looked, but how it felt.

The most meaningful moments cannot be fully controlled. They happen in the pauses, in quiet glances, in subtle movements that unfold naturally throughout the day.
I work with an observant, documentary mindset, allowing the celebration to flow without interruption. My goal is to preserve the atmosphere and genuine emotion exactly as it feels.

At the same time, I never leave you without guidance. I gently direct when needed, helping you feel confident and at ease in front of the camera so that everything remains natural and effortless.

A considered approach to every story.
No two celebrations are ever the same.
I approach each one with intention and sensitivity to what makes it yours.
If this feels aligned, you’re invited to begin the conversation.
